The ALLETT Classic 14″ Petrol Cylinder Lawnmower is a top of the range machine which is ideal for those who prefer the smooth, low cut provided by the cylinder design of vintage mowers, complete with the modern convenience of a powerful petrol engine. The cylinder is spun forward at high speed, bringing the sharp steel blades into contact with the grass, which is finely cut between the cylinder blades and a single stationary blade. This action effectively cuts grass with a scissoring action, which grants a neater cut than that of rotary mowers.

A heavy rear roller flattens grass after cutting, giving your garden the classic British striped look. In addition, a tough polymer Grassbox efficiently catches grass clippings, and is easily removed so that emptying it of grass is as simple as possible. The cutting cylinder can also be removed to allow sharpening of the blades, and the machine can even be fitted with an optional scarifying cassette in its place.

Once the job is done, the ALLETT Classic can be stored very easily, as the handle can be folded down and the grassbox can be removed and the bar it rests on folded up. Carrying handles allow easy transport of the machine.
